YOLO by Lani Lynn Vale
Series: The Carter Brothers #7
Genres: Romantic Suspense
Garrett Carter knew the moment he saw her years prior that she was the one.
His one, however, had a fiancé. And she was rich. She also lived out of state.
So what other option did he have but to let her go?
Years later, he sees her again at her worst.
Her husband-to-be has stranded her on a hiking trail with a head wound, convinced she’s faking her blindness.
Garrett takes one look at the injured Bindi Howe and knows there’s no way she’s faking it.
Rushing her to the hospital, he gets her there just in time to save her life.
During the craziness, Garrett has no clue it’s her—his one.
He leaves her there with her family and goes back home to his lonely life.
Only fate intervenes for him a third time, and it’s then that Garrett decides that he’s going to go for it.
But, like always, life intervenes, and he’s forced to leave her behind once again to keep her safe.
As luck would have it, fate gives him one last shot, and brings them together one last time, and Garrett refuses to let her go, despite Bindi’s fiancé coming back begging for a second chance.
Review
Can I just start off by saying there were so many moments in this book that I wanted to punch someone that it isn’t even funny? It was always Bindi’s ex but without spoiling anything let me say that he will make you punchy! That out of the way, Garret and Bindi were simply put, perfect!
They saw each other once in a hotel lobby and I love that because years later when they realize it Bindi will remember seeing what Garret looks like. Lani Lynn Vale does such a great job of writing blind characters, remember Viddy and how awesome she was! Bindi ends up blind because of her ex and Garrett is the one who saves her.
Of course that is just the beginning and I loved how their story unfolded. Bindi decides to go out and live her life regardless of her new disability. Which leads her straight to Garrett and the entire Carter family. Fate knew that these two belonged together and neither distance or Garrett’s need to protect her at all costs will mess that up.
This was the perfect ending to an amazing series. This book left me with so many emotions that I know I will be rereading it again very soon. I can’t wait to see what the next series brings.
