Until that best friend turns out to be a cheating idiot. Nail Me Down kicks off Lana Piers' new Lit Creek Blue Collar Boys series, and Ford was exactly the kind of hero I wanted. He's a contractor, protective as all get-out, quietly obsessed with Holly, and very good at showing her exactly how he feels once he finally gets his chance. Things move quickly, but this is a novella and Ford and Holly already have a friendship underneath all that attraction.
