Review
This was my first time reading a book from the Beamer Street series, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easily I was able to settle into the story. Although this is the fourth installment, it works very well as a standalone, and I never felt lost or confused by ongoing storylines or characters.
The pacing is excellent from start to finish, keeping the story moving while still allowing space for emotional moments to land. The plot feels fresh and original, unfolding in a way that steadily builds tension and curiosity, making it hard to put down.
What stood out most for me was the depth of the characters. They are thoughtfully written, with believable emotions and motivations that make it easy to become invested in their journeys. The author does a wonderful job of drawing the reader into their lives and making you care about what happens next.
Overall, this was a thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying read. It’s engaging, well-paced, and emotionally rich, and it has definitely encouraged me to go back and explore the earlier books in the series.
