Review
Rob Jones has truly outdone himself with The Atlantis Covenant, a high-octane adventure that blends history, archaeology, and nonstop action into an unforgettable reading experience. Max Hunter, world-renowned archaeologist and former soldier, has spent his life chasing the myth of Atlantis. When a discovery beneath the Gates of Nineveh reveals clues that could finally lead to the lost city, Hunter embarks on a race against time—and against ruthless enemies who will kill to claim Atlantis’ secrets for themselves.
Joined by a determined FBI agent and backed by a powerful Swiss organization, Hunter’s journey spans continents, from Iraq’s hidden tombs to El Salvador’s dangerous jungles and Egypt’s Valley of the Kings. Along the way, he faces betrayals, deadly cults, and battles that test not only his courage but his loyalty to his team. The pacing is perfect—fast, thrilling, and cinematic—yet balanced with rich historical details that ground the story in realism.
I loved how the characters evolved throughout the mission, particularly Hunter, whose bravery and determination kept me invested. The sense of danger and mystery never let up, and the final discoveries left me both stunned and desperate for the next installment. Rob Jones has created a masterful blend of suspense and historical intrigue, delivering a debut to this series that feels epic in scope and impossible to put down. The Atlantis Covenant is everything I want in an adventure thriller—gripping, intelligent, and absolutely addictive.
