I don’t read these types often. The write up reminds me a bit like author Nora Roberts. Some of her works are okay.

I have a few books by Devney Perry, and with tail between my legs admit that I’ve yet to read them… Despite all good intentions, they seem to get lost in the shuffle. 😔 I will be adding this title to my Wish List, and hope to get at one of this author’s books soon. ❤️

I rarely read these types of books, but this sounds like an interesting story line.
I would likely read this one. I actually know someone who went through severe burns. His girlfriend at the time (later became his wife) finished her nursing degree and stayed with him. They had a child and have been married 20+ years.
Oh, this sounds like a tearjerker. So, yeah, I’d read it. I’m a sucker for a good cry.
