2025 was the worst year I have had in a while. Saying that is actually putting it very mildly. If you follow me on Rita Reviews then you already know that I have been in the process of moving. All of the details about that nightmare can be found over there. On top of that, Storied Conversation sort of took a backseat to everything else. So did a lot of my reading and to say that saddens me is the understatement of the century. That is one of the biggest reasons I intend to take 2026 by the balls so to speak and become the woman I know I am.

The one who gets back to reading for the sheer joy of it and gets her life in order. I have several wonderful tools helping me do that here. The first is I am using a program called ARC Library. It allows me to input all of my book tours, reviews, etc in one place and keep some on track with them. However I also have a new planner that I am using this year.

Isn’t she beautiful? I don’t have it fully set up yet and if I am being honest I am more than a little intimated by it. I got it from The Book Sisters and I promise to do a flip through soon showing y’all more of it and some links.

They aren’t the only ones but just the short list I have so far. Actually, there are a few others but I haven’t uploaded all of the covers yet. I am sitting here in the same pajamas I have been wearing for three days trying to get some work done. Midnight has just happened and I rang in the New Year with a cookie and then falling over some of the boxes that in my way. Boxes I still need to unpack. Oh, I had to kill some ants because it got cold and they somehow managed to get their sneaky little selves into my bathroom.

I have several book reviews that I swore would to follow me into 2026 but SURPRISE! They did and I will have them done today and tomorrow or I am going to pull my hair out. I also signed up for the Book of the Month Club so that will be something I share whenever it comes in with you as well. Along with some other news a little later this month.

I haven’t forgotten about the giveaways. Rafflecopter shut down and I just haven’t had the time to look for something new. I do want to do a few this year here. I just want a connection more than the just the giveaways but I will get back to them soon I promise.
