A Whole Lot of Clean Up

Apr. 03, 2025

A Whole Lot of Clean Up

If you’ve spent any time around here lately, you may have noticed things shifting, shuffling, and occasionally looking… well, a little wonky.

That’s not your imagination—it’s real, and it’s intentional.
Because right now at Storied Conversation, we are deep in a blog clean-up.

I’ve started this process more times than I can count. Honestly, it feels like I’ve hit restart a dozen times over the years. Life happens. Priorities shift. And before you know it, the blog has grown wild like an overgrown garden. Still lovely, but a little tangled in places.

So this time, I’m doing it the right way: slow and steady, post by post, and with a cup of coffee (or three) in hand.

What’s Happening Behind the Scenes

I went old school and printed a complete list of every single blog post I’ve ever written here. (Yes, it was a lot of paper. Yes, my printer sighed deeply.) With that list in hand, I’m combing through the archives and tackling each post—one at a time.

  • Updating featured images to match the style and spirit of Storied Conversation today
  • Cleaning up formatting, links, and outdated references
  • Making sure everything is accessible, cozy, and current

So if you’re scrolling and stumble upon a post that looks like it’s going through an identity crisis—maybe the image is blurry or the layout feels off—know that it’s on my list and it’s getting some love soon.

Why It Matters

This space is special. It’s part book nook, part journal, part conversation corner—and I want it to reflect the heart behind it. Whether you’re a longtime reader or just wandered in recently, you deserve a beautiful, intentional experience here.

So thank you for your patience while I dust off the digital shelves and refresh the pages.

We’re not just decluttering—we’re curating a cozier, more intentional space that feels like a breath of fresh air.

Stay tuned, and if you spot a post you love that’s glowing with a new look, give it a read! And if you see one that still needs attention—don’t worry. I’ll get there.

With a stack of to-do lists,
Rita

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars A bookstore owner stalks an author. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars

A bookstore owner stalks an author.

The author threatens to call the police.

Then actually does.

Somehow this turns into a romance and I loved every minute of it. 😂

Jasmine and River were chaotic, stubborn, funny, and completely perfect together. Their banter carried this entire book for me.

Also, River trusting Jasmine when everyone else was questioning her? That man knew exactly who she was.

This book was ADORABLE. 🥰 Small-town charm ✔️ Wol This book was ADORABLE. 🥰

Small-town charm ✔️
Wolf shifter Chief of Police ✔️
Slow-burn romance ✔️
Found family vibes ✔️
A town full of lovable busybodies ✔️

I loved how Liza and Cassian slowly became part of each other's everyday lives before romance really took center stage. They were so comfortable together and completely made me smile.

And Alaric's formal complaint? I laughed so hard I nearly spit out my drink. 😂

I cannot wait for the next trip back to Blackthorn Bay!

Bridger was the Rogue Pack wolf I most wanted to k Bridger was the Rogue Pack wolf I most wanted to know more about, and his story absolutely delivered. We've seen glimpses of him throughout the series—always keeping his distance while still showing up when it mattered most. Finally learning the truth behind his past and the loss he carries was heartbreaking.

Kit was not at all who I expected for Bridger, but she ended up being exactly what he needed. Their story felt a little different from the other books in the series, focusing more on healing, guilt, and emotional growth than outside conflict. I actually loved that change of pace.

The Rogue Pack's matchmaking antics had me shaking my head and laughing at the same time, and as always, the pack dynamics were one of my favorite parts of the book.

A sweet, emotional paranormal romance filled with heart, healing, and one grumpy wolf who finally gets the happiness he deserves. 🐺
