I wanted to say that I am hoping to change a few things up with the book club this year. I am not sure which month the new format for them will begin but I will be doing something more with them. That being said, March's Book Club read is not a romance which I will say I enjoyed. This book honestly, would be a great beach read book. Something you take with you on vacation and just enjoy. Review

I didn’t read the first book, The Runaway Wife, but that didn’t stop me from thoroughly enjoying this one. Though it picks up after the events of the first, this story stands firmly on its own, and I had no trouble connecting with the characters or following the plot. When Connie discovers a box revealing her paternal grandmother’s Italian roots, she feels the pull of a new adventure—and Italy becomes her next destination.

Setting off in a motorhome, Connie is joined by two unforgettable companions: Maggie, who’s chasing freedom, and Gill, who’s on the lookout for a new romance. Together, they embark on a journey filled with unforgettable experiences, new friendships, and maybe even a touch of romance. I absolutely loved spending time with these three incredible women. They’re bold, funny, relatable, and deeply inspiring. I can only hope to be half as adventurous and spirited when I reach their age. This book is a heartwarming, feel-good read—full of laughter, touching moments, and the beautiful reminder that it’s never too late for a new beginning.
