This is a new series for me as well as a new for me author. It is a stand alone book so you can read it and not the next books, as this is the first, but trust me once you read this you are going to want to read more. This has me laughing out loud at times so hard that I almost wet myself.
Maggie’s friend Robin drags her to a biker bar where she meets Nate and has a one night stand. The next morning Nate treats Maggie so horribly. I swear I called Nate all kinds of names while reading. He will make you that peeved, but stick with him. He’s worth it in the end.
He has a reason for being the way he is and I promise when all is said and done you are going to love him. Everyone needs a friend like Robin though! She is in her fifties and I swear was so wonderful.
This is a wonderful story of two people who need the connection they have with one another even if they struggle to get there. It has plenty of laughs, wonderful chemistry, a second chance and a best friend that will make you wish for one like her.
