Do you reread books that you enjoy? How often if you answered yes to that question? I reread books all the time. In fact I may read a book I am doing a review on, take some notes, and then read it again a day or so before the review is do. Just to see if there is anything I missed the first time. Sometimes I get a better understanding of characters the second time. With reviews I am always taking notes the first time so I feel like I may not have enjoyed it much as I would if I was just reading. That is why I do a second read.
Of course that is not the only reason I reread books. I can even begin to tell you how many times I have the Outlander series, and pretty much all of Lani Lynn Vale’s book s get reread throughout the year. When I fall into a reading slump I will go back and read a series again. In fact right now I am in the middle of reading The Heroes of Dixie Wardens series by Lani Lynn Vale.
I was thinking about them recently and realized I hadn’t read them in a while. Many of their children have been in the most recent series and I thought I would go back and read the original. It helps me while I am waiting for the next book int he series to come out.
I know what some of you are wondering. Why in the world would I read something that I already know what is going to happen? It’s like watching a movie you have already seen. Many of us have seen movies we enjoy hundreds if not thousands of times. Books are like for me. It doesn’t matter that I already know how they will end. It is like checking in with an old friend.

I don’t normally re-read books. There is ONE book that I have read a few times and that is Dark Magic by Christine Feehan. I LOVE Gregory, the hero!

I very seldom reread books, but I do on occasion, mostly if I’m reading a series.

So far, I think I have only reread one book. It was because the sequel came out after many, many years and I had forgotten who the characters were!
