While you can read Rocker on his own I highly suggest that you read all the books in the series in order. You get a much better sense of the who the MC is and what they stand for. We pick right up where Cannon left off with Simone coming to the Cerberus clubhouse bloody and beaten saying she killed her husband. Rocker and Jinx jump right into action since they have shared a night with Simone.

This is one of those books where you think you know the direction it is going to take and then it doesn’t. Marie James is good about doing that. She did it once before to me, I was certain the story was heading in one direction only for it to head a different way. Rocker and Simone together were just so perfect. Rocker was intense once he decided that he liked Simone as more than the friends with benefits sort of way.
