This giveaway should have posted last month but things have been just crazy. I know I’ve been saying that but I swear if y’all saw my day to day the last month and a half your head would spin. I wake up and think, how in the world am I gonna get it all done. It seems like there are appointments or something every day. This morning I got reminders to get my third Covid vaccine, I had an appointment tomorrow that I forgot about, and I needed medication refills that I should have put in last week. This month was suppose to be about getting back on track. At this moment I am taking it a day at a time.
Anyway, I wanted to have a large giveaway for Storied Conversation as a welcome to the new site and everything that I am hoping to accomplish over here. I want this blog to be more than just romance although I will still post a lot about romance books. They are my favorite genre and I can’t help how much I love them. You know that saying “Those who can’t learn, teach.” ? Well I’m more like those who can’t have a relationship, read about them. Just kidding!
Books are my escape. In fact when I was in the hospital last year I had a nurse bring in the social worker because she thought I was depressed. Well, more than usual. Since I wasn’t watching television and when my door opened I always put down my book. She thought I was just sitting there in the bed staring out into the room. It’s rather funny now but not at the time it happened.
I had planned this huge article and then everything happened and today I find that I just want to get the giveaway posted for y’all. I know that this transition hasn’t been smooth and we are still updating everything. Not to mention working out the kinks. Add in the personal stuff and I barely have time to shower and catch my breath at the end of every day.
