Reid hasn’t had it easy at all. Years ago he brother was killed in an accident which left Reid feeling a bit lost. Then he is seriously injured by Alba’s crazy stalker in book two of the series. That has left him more than a little bitter.
Enter Mila and her daughter (who is such a joy, by the way) to help keep him back on his feet. Mila is a nurse and Reid needs at home care. She takes a live in job to help Reid get back on his feet.
As Reid begins to heal him and Mila begin to get closer as does little Ava. Of course since Reid is in the MC there is trouble and while that plays a role in this one it played more of a secondary role in my opinion. Which was good since Reid had been injured.
This one had a twist that I loved. One that brought up a lot of pain for everyone involved but also a lot of healing that in the end made them stringer together.
Can’t wait to read this one!
