The idea behind this book sounds so intriguing but for whatever reason I struggled with it. I wanted to love it and while I didn’t hate it, the book just didn’t do it for me. The ending was rushed and felt ingenuine.
All of the characters are well written although I did have some issues with Johnny. I got more into the book in the middle than at the beginning. while I am normally alright with different timelines in a book and switching between them with the number of characters here I wasn’t crazy with that.
