Welcome to The Monthly Chapter for May 2023.
Spring is almost over and summer is quickly approaching. I am finally back here and excited to have gotten the chance to get these monthly posts back up. It was a rough month for me in April and I have high hopes that May will be better. April didn’t begin or end well and let’s hope things are looking up. Surprising enough I was able to get several things prepped for May here and am excited to see what y’all think of them.
I do know that I skipped all of my regular monthly posts in April and will be getting those backlist books as well as those authors added into other months as we head into the rest of the year. I do want to take the time to THANK each and every one of you for being so patient with me.Y’all are simply the best readers a gal could ask for.

I’m planning to read Dirt Rich: How One Ambitiously Lazy Geek Created Passive Income in Real Estate Without Renters, Renovations, and Rehabs.
I am going to change my trope up a bit and try reading some Rejected mates books.
I have nothing specific, but I’m sure I’ll be reading a lot of manga.
I would like to read the book called on the sly by Joanna Mazurkiewicz this month it sounds super good.
I will be reading book from Elizabeth Briggs. Reading her backlist. Hopefully get in some new releases and a few that have been on my ereader for a while.
I plan on reading Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano.
Still unpacking and getting everything in our new apartment organized as I like but I do want to take some time for myself and relax with a good book. Nocticadia by Keri Lake, Falling for the Recluse by Liv Prescott and the Resting Warrior Ranch Series by Josie Jade/Janie Crouch are queued up on my Kindle

I only read 8 books in April. I was in a bit of a reading slump for a whole week while dealing with my mom’s health issues. I have a couple of books I am looking forward to including Sarah Adam’s, Cora Reilly has a new series starting this month & I got the latest Emily Henry in the TBR as well! 🙂
