Other Woman Drama by Lani Lynn Vale
Series: Content Advisory #4
Genres: Romantic Suspense
Piers “Webber” Webb knew two things for certain.
One, he needed to stay the hell away from Silver Donahue. Two, he didn’t think there was a chance in hell that he could.
He tries, though.
For a solid year, he does his best to be dismissive to the point where he appears cold and threatening.
But when Silver finds herself in danger, he forgets why he was giving her the cold shoulder to begin with.
The thing is, Silver didn’t forget.

Silver Donahue was so deeply in love with Piers Webb it was disheartening. Especially knowing he didn’t like her back.
She’s determined to live her life, but with Webber always on the edge of her existence, she knows it’s futile. But she tries.
The thing is, there’s no way you can ignore Piers Webb when he’s aiming that dark and deadly gaze your way.
She’s determined to keep him at a distance, until one night she has to pick him up on the side of a deserted road in the middle of nowhere. That one moment of need on his end is all she needs to realize a few things.
He’s as scary as he wants her to believe, and killing a man and disposing of a body is a daily practice for him.
She should run so far in the opposite direction, because he has so many red flags, even a toddler wouldn’t be able to ignore them.
But she’s always proven she makes bad decisions.
But Piers Webb is going to be the best bad decision she’s ever made.

Review
There is plenty of drama in this one and while it is a bit of a slow burn it is more than worth it. Piers wanted to get to know Silver but something prevented that from happening. He is a great leader and does right by his MC. He has a teen daughter who he adores and an ex wife that I wanted to throat punch so many times it isn’t funny. She was certainly a piece of work.
For Silver her sister, Aella, and her did not have the best upbringing. Her mother is a piece of work and her dad, well more throat punching feelings happened every time he entered the story. What is funny though is how utterly sunny and happy that Silver is. She is determined to be better than her parents and I really liked her. She is also 100% in love with Piers.
I wasn’t sure about Piers but by the end of this book I was in love with him myself. He did have some moments but, in the end, they were understandable. While he does seem like a jerk at times he certainly wasn’t. Silver could not have been a better fit for him. WE also get a little more of some of the other guys which I love as well.

I’ve enjoyed the books in this series so far. I love your description of “throat punching” some characters! Can’t wait to get into this book!
