Review
Here we meet Scarlett who is searching for Linie which is how she meets Duke Ambrose. It turns out they are searching for the same person so they decide to join forces. Of course that leads to all kinds of things. I will say this was an amazing start to a new series.
I loved Scarlett, as a heroine, she was well written an simply put amazing. I hope we see more of her in some way in future books. I will say I did expect a little more mayhem and that was why I took of a half star. I mean she is one of the maidens of Mayhem after all.
However, while there wasn’t enough mayhem for me it didn’t take a lot away from the plot itself. As far as a the beginning of series goes, as I said I thought it was a great start. Also can I just say how truly beautiful the cover for this book is? It is simple yet effective.
