Her Shelter by Terri Anne Browning
Series: Angels Halo MC: Next Generation #6
Genres: MC Romance
The beautiful, ethereal creature ran across the road on my way home one night. I nearly hit her and ended up wiping out in the process. A little dazed, I ran after her…
And found her in the woods. Dirty and cold from living on the streets for weeks—but still so breathtaking, I was sure I was dreaming her.
Delaney is deaf, scared, and on the run from her uncle.
But now that I’ve found her, I won’t let anything hurt her ever again.
She makes me feel something I’ve never felt before. This tightness in my chest causes the beast within me to snarl unless she’s beside me. She becomes my obsession, my reason to get out of bed in the morning. She makes me want to be…better. For her.
I’m never letting this girl go.
No matter who tries to take her from me.
So I began this book the day it was released and promised y’all that I would review it at some point. This book made me feel so much and now I need to go back and buy every previous book. There was just so many amazing characters that I need to know more about like right this minute. Delaney is deaf which is something we learn when Max, a member of Angels Halo MC, almost hits her one night.
All it takes in one look at her and Max knows he has found his forever. He takes her home when he realizes she is homeless and in need of help. Delaney is on the run and let me tell you when those she is running from show up Delaney learns just how not alone she is. There are some plot twists here that I will tell I loved so much.
Delaney is just a wonderful girl and I loved that she doesn’t lose her sweetness throughout everything she goes through. Max is awesome! I loved that he was fluent in ASL (so were some of his family members) because it meant he and Delaney could communicate right off the bat. I will say there isn’t a lot of MC action in this book, it focuses much more on Max and Delaney and their relationship.
