I just love Gabe and Ember! While they weren't the first LLV couple that I read about they were certainly the first favorite couple I had.

Ember and Gabe are one of my favorite couples. They are so great together. Ember is Cheyenne’s best friend and Max’s sister. Gabe works with the guys at Free. They are like oil and water at times. Right from the first page they butt heads.

I love though that when she was in trouble she called Gabe rather than call anyone else. He, of course, came running and the incident brings them together. I wish I could say it was sooth sailing from there but Ember is being targeted by a local gang.

That means her safety is in the air and Gabe has to protect her. Gabe is not out of the woods either. he has vicious ex who kept a secret from him. His past has to be dealt with and I will admit there is a moment when I want to punch him.

Gabe is just an all around good guy. I love that he keeps having to deliver babies. He’s like the medic of the team and I swear he is always having to deliver a baby or rush a woman to the hospital. It’s great!

Ember is also just as great. The relationship her and Cheyenne have is more like sisters than friends and let me tell you the appointment at the OB/GYN that Ember goes with Cheyenne to is funny.

As always Lani Lynn Vale pairs the perfect couple together. Even when they are arguing you can tell how much Ember and Gabe still mean to one another. After all what kind of woman puts a huge picture of a guy on her mantle. Can you say stalker Ember? Gabe’s reaction is perfect!
