Leaping Leprechauns Giveaway Hop

Mar. 03, 2023

Leaping-Leprechauns-Hiveaway-Hop-768x768

It’s March which means spring is on the way and we get to celebrate all things Irish this month! I love everything Irish almost as much as I love all things Scottish. I’m just a Celtic gal at heart. Of I do need to thank our hosts, Review Wire Media and Chatty Patty’s Place who made all of this possible.

Of course with March and the whole Irish celebration I thought I would share with y’all some of my favorite Irish reads. First up has to be all of the Callaghans (and their cousins) from Abbie Zanders. Kane and Rebecca are my all time favorite Callaghan couple.

December Featured Author: Abbie Zanders + Winter is Coming Giveaway Hop

Kane is the oldest and the biggest of the brothers. He is super serious and you can totally see him as a Navy SEAL and recluse. He is also an investment banker/accountant for the family which seems out of place but works. He meets Rebecca while on a mission. Then she comes to Pine Ridge and they meet again. The moment that best describes their chemistry is the morning after they get married.

Kane’s brother and wife knocks on their hotel room door. He answers wrapped in a towel with Rebecca wrapped in a sheet and his brother wonders if Kane had somehow gotten bigger overnight. The couple walk away to get dressed and his brother notices that Kane’s back in covered in scratches. His wife says “It’s always the quiet ones.”

The Whole Series

Another favorite author with Irish themed books is Nora Roberts. She actually does several. I have reviewed The Cousins O’Dwyer series before. I also enjoy her Gallaghers of Ardmore series very much.

Jude Murray flies across the world from America to Faerie Hill Cottage to immerse herself in the study of Irish folklore. There she meets Aidan Gallagher who has devoted most of his life to managing the family pub. Although he did spend a few years traveling.

He knows plenty of legends and stories and as he shares them with Jude they begin to discover their own passion and magic begins to take hold. Just maybe they are the first pair to help heal a centuries old fairy’s heart.

Not the setting, but the main character – Scarlett O’hara, in “Gone With The Wind”. She’s half Irish, but her father was born in Ireland. He keeps telling her, “To anyone with a drop of Irish blood, the land they live on is like their mother”.I’ve always loved that sentiment, the love of the land.

Grania: She-King of the Irish Seas by Morgan Llywelyn, about real-life Irish chieftain Grace O’Malley. I don’t know how I pick what I read and I rarely check out the author’s country. The book I finished this week – I borrowed from the neighbor. I was cat sitting for them and they have a ton of bookshelves (like I used to have before I downsized). would not have been a book I’d have bought or necessarily drawn to other than it’s non-fiction. it was jaw dropping – that you’d think it was a novel: The teapot dome scandal

📚 LOOK WHAT I'M READING TODAY! Unfortunate Games 📚 LOOK WHAT I'M READING TODAY!

Unfortunate Games by Nichole Rose

Her fortune wasn't supposed to be her fate.

Emelia
Drunkenly folding my way into a future with the hottest goalie in the league wasn't how I intended to spend Saturday night, but here we are.

Clearly, my besties should not be in charge of Girl's Night activities.

One cootie catcher later, and Royce Elliot is determined to make this wild prediction a reality.

I'm absolutely not interested. Until I am.

He's supposed to be my client, not the man I can't resist.

But with every touch and every kiss, this feels less like a game…
and more like forever.

Royce
I know hockey, not how to win over a stubborn, fiercely independent publicist.

But the second I meet Emelia Jónsson, I stop caring about shutouts.
I care about her.

She says her fortune teller doesn't mean anything—that it's just a childish game.
I say fate handed me an opening, and I'm not going to miss my shot.

I didn't expect her to ignite the way she does for me.
And I never imagined I’d fall this hard, this fast.

She swears this can't happen.
She's wrong.

I'm not backing down until she admits the truth.
We were never just a game.
The two of us were fate.

Rafe Montero keeps his world quiet, controlled, and carefully structured.

As a wounded veteran turned demanding boss, the last thing he wants is a distraction, especially in the form of the bright, chaotic energy of his new employee. Beneath her playful confidence, though, is a woman determined to prove herself — even if her brooding boss keeps pushing her away.

Seraphina is everything Rafe isn’t. She’s outgoing where he’s guarded, spontaneous where he’s rigid, and impossible to ignore.

The more they clash in the workplace, the more undeniable the tension becomes. When late nights at the office turn into stolen moments and guarded confessions, Rafe realizes Seraphina might be the one person capable of breaking through the walls he built.

My Wounded Boss is an instalove romance featuring a possessive alpha hero, sizzling chemistry, a fiery heroine, a broody hero, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

Meet Mitsi Blunderlock—a witch who graduated from Gloombubble Academy with one rather unfortunate problem: she can't fly.

After one spectacular crash leaves her with a crooked nose and a healthy respect for gravity, Mitsi decides that perhaps the sky isn't where she's meant to be. When a mysterious message in her tea leaves tells her to "GO. NOW.", she heads to the charming town of Marivell in a magical pumpkin carriage built by her inventor father.

What follows sounds like the kind of cozy fantasy adventure I absolutely love: a witch finding her place in the world, a town full of quirky magical characters, a distinguished werewolf, eccentric harpies, an opossum baker, and a whole lot of heart.

✨ Cozy Fantasy
🧙‍♀️ A Witch Who Can't Fly
🚕 A Magical Cab Service
🐺 Found Family
☕ Charming Small-Town Vibes

💜 A Story About Finding Where You Belong

Sometimes the strongest magic isn't found in spells at all—it's found in helping others and building a community.

I can't wait to spend time in Marivell and share my thoughts when the time comes!

Would you read a cozy fantasy about a witch who starts a magical cab company? Because I am already completely sold. 📚✨
