November 2021 Featured Author: Eve Langlais

Nov. 01, 2021

November 2021 Featured Author Eve Langlais updated 2025

It’s the beginning of a new month which means time for our newest Featured Author! This month we are showcasing Eve Langlais. When I selected her I thought of all her books I had read and wanted to share with you. Now that it is her turn I realize I have actually only read one series of hers! It’s okay you can laugh if you want to but it’s the truth. I guess I just really enjoy this series.

Her Lion’s Pride series is a shifter romance series but there is just something about it. I honestly think it is all of the laughter that goes along with it. The gals especially is in this series know how to not take life so seriously and they make each and every book worth a read.

“Fingers crossed, she held them in front of her as a ward. “Get out of my head, vile creature.” “Excuse me?” “Be gone, oh stealer of souls. You shan’t have my body or my blood.” Okay, maybe he could have her body, but she was keeping her blood in her veins, thank you very much.”

―   Eve Langlais, When A Lioness Pounces

When an Alpha Purrs (A Lion’s Pride #1)

I have told y’all about this one before. Arik is way too attached to his hair which is funny because he’s a lion shifter and it’s all about the mane! It’s even funnier when Kira gets so nervous that she ends up cutting his way shorter than he wanted.

The chase that ensues is just as funny not that I blame the girl from running. I mean hat are you suppose to do when you mess someone’s hair up that bad?

Arik is as alpha as they come and the chemistry between these two is off the charts hot.

There is also a crazy ex stalker who can’t seem to take no for an answer. We get plenty of thrills from this one.

A Tiger’s Bride (A Lion’s Pride #4)

This is actually my favorite book of the series and I highly recommend that you read the previous book before this one. The reason is because we meet Dmitri there when he aggressively stalks Meena. The Russian tiger just doesn’t understand the word no and this one begins with Meena’s wedding.

Dmitri is in attendance and while there he sees Teena (Meena’s twin) and decides she is the lion for him. They will make beautiful babies. He just needs to get her alone which means to kidnap her.

Kidnapped and forced into marriage could be worse as far Teena is concerned. Her problem is that her new husband is under some pressure since his wife is a virgin. She’s more than ready to pounce.

They just need to survive Teena’s bad luck and the people after them. Not to mention the plane crash. Did I tell you Teena is bad luck?

When a Lioness Pounces (A Lion’s Pride #6)

There is a new guy in town and he is keeping secrets.

Good thing Reba likes secrets and is good at finding them out for the pride. Although Gaston is determined to keep his.

I loved that he was named Gaston and wasn’t your standard shifter which made things funny. The lionesses were taking bets on what he was and there was mention of the devil. This is another that is just full of laughter.

Gaston is so serious but can keep up with Reba and her crew with no problem. The lionesses in this one are over the top funny. They know they are the assassins of the pride and they do it well.

While wearing heels and the occasional costume because they are like super heroes. Only they shift and are super blood thirsty. I laughed my butt off through out this whole thing.

The three books about are three of my favorites. Although as I said I love this entire series. Now take the time to enter the giveaway below and maybe connect with Eve Langlais on social media.

About Eve Langlais

~ New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author

Hello, my name is Eve and I am a Canadian author who loves to write hot romance, usually with hot shifters, cyborgs or aliens. I should warn you that I possess a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing.

I love to write, and while I don't always know what my mind is going to come up with next, I can promise it will be fun, probably humorous and most of all romantic, because I love a happily ever after.

Thanks so much for coming by and checking me out.

Happy reading! -Eve Langlais

Holly Lorena Cain, formerly known as Georgina Lorena Cain, was well acquainted with rock bottom. She’s coasted along its rocky shores for years. It all started when her mother left her when she was barely old enough to understand. For years, her and her dad struggled to make ends meet. A dying cattle farm can’t run itself, and with her dad having cancer, it got harder and harder to hang on to land that’s been in her family for generations.

Just as she thinks that she’s finally made it, her father passes away and leaves every single thing he owns to their neighbor. The man that’d been worming his way into her father’s good graces while she’d been away pursuing higher education.

But she can’t be mad.

Being mad would mean that she has a soul left, but she sold that a long time ago to pay for college.

Once she comes to terms with her father and the land being gone, she moves back to Bear Pass and with one thing on her mind—avoid Denver at all costs. He can never know just how much it hurt that he stole her life away from her.

Only, he makes it impossibly hard to stay away.

He’s there around every corner. He offers her a place to stay. Makes sure she has a place to work. Fixes her car. Saves her from a kidnapper. Oh, and gives her everything her heart desires.

She stays away as best as she can, but she doesn’t stand a chance against Denver’s determination and charm. He’s there when no one else is, peeling her off the floor and propping her back up again each time she falls.

The gruff motorcycle club president with his scary glares and harsh work ethic has decided to make her his, and he won’t stand for her refusal.

He’s been protecting her for her entire life, and she doesn’t even know it.

He won’t stop now, even if she’s bound and determined to stay away.
