Welcome to The Monthly Chapter for December 2024!
I admit that I actually started writing this back in November so that I would ensure it was ready to go. I wanted to share more of the updates I have been doing along with some other information. So, I knew if I started this post then I could just pop in and add the things I needed to into the sections and schedule it once I was done. It just made things a little easier for me.
Everything Books
If you have looked at the Everything Books section you will notice that it has all sorts of little books that I created myself which I am pretty proud of. As you can see from the three I have shown you above. This page was one that I really wanted to get updated but have put off for a long timee.
Bookish Life
Bookish Life was another page that I wanted to get updated but kept putting off. The Reading List and the Bookish Finds have not yet been set up but those are both things that will be happening either this month or in the new year. It all just depends on how much I manage to get done.
The Monthly Chapter
This is just a reminder that The Monthly Chapter will be changing a bit in the new year. It is just time for it to get an update and to make a few adjustments. Nothing major, just things that need to be done. Also you will notice that this month doesn’t really have book recommendations or even my reading this month sections. I am keeping it simple to give you some updates and the giveaways.

I am definitely looking forward to reading holiday books in the days leading up to Christmas.
I’ve just started the Big Bad Wolf series by Charlie Adhara and am enjoying it so far (only read a few pages). After this series I might start the Green Creek by TJ Klune, of which I also heard many good things.
I would really like to finish the book that I am currently reading seems like I just haven’t had the time lately. I would like to finish this book and start the next one.
When I’m finished with my holiday shopping and baking, I will be reading Debbie Macomber’s A Christmas Duet.
I’m looking forward to reading Little Women. I just love this book and love reading it around Christmas.
I plan on reading some short stories with my family from Chicken Soup for the Soul: Tales of Christmas that was given to me from a co-worker.
I am going to reread 1984.
My reading plans are to try to catch up on my TBR list!
I have some winter reading challenges…I’m in a bit of a reading slump, so maybe I’ll try some manga…
I will be reading some of the historical romances I was gifted for a Xmas.
My reading plans for the month are super unambitious, with the kids home and the holidays, all the extra work, I just won’t have as much time. So I put an easy read on my kindle for those snatched moments.
I’m getting ready to read Fences Left Broken by Kristen Terrette. I just picked it up and I’m going to start reading it this evening.
I read a bunch of holiday/Christmas books! I love Christmas romcoms! I watched a bunch of Christmas movies too. Hope you had an amazing Christmas & want to wish you a happy new year! My reading plans are trying to meet my goodreads goal of 150 books this year so I think I got it!
