I had never read any books from Golden Angel prior to this collection of short stories. Some of them take place at Stronghold and some at Marquis. It is clear this is a catch up with beloved characters. That being said I enjoyed each and every story. Just because I didn’t know much about them didn’t take anything away from each story. In fact, it has made me want to go back and read more.
