The Fool by Lani Lynn Vale
Series: Welcome to the Circus #7
Genres: Romantic Suspense
I don’t know who needs to hear this but take a day off from being the bigger person. Fuck some shit up.
Those words were said to him by a stranger in the airport. And from that moment on, he’s only had eyes for her.
Too bad they met when she was taking off for three months to parts unknown. Otherwise, Keene Day—yes, that was really his godforsaken name—would’ve tried a little harder to get her info.
Lucky for him, fate takes pity on him.
They meet over and over again in the airport. First in the security line, then at the terminal where they’re both on the same plane. Finally, after a few delayed flights, an emergency landing, and a six-hour road trip, he finally pulls his head out of his ass long enough to get her info.
And over the next few weeks, they talk over the phone and get to know each other.
But fate is funny.
Just as easily as it can bring you to a person, it can tear them away, too.
And Ande Carter’s life is about to take a turn for the worse.
But Keene is there for it all. The good, bad, and ugly.
Whether she wants him there or not.

The Fool Book Review
Wow! Keene and Ande’s story could not be more perfect to end this series. From the moment these two, I felt an instant connection between them. The characters were fantastic—I loved Ande from the moment I met her. Her witty banter, spilling out facts, and outgoing personality, coming from such a large family with 7 brothers, showed she could handle herself just fine. Ande will fit right in with Keene’s dysfunctional family, as he always calls them, and their crazy demon kids. LOL.
I didn’t know what to expect from Keene’s story, but as fate would have it, Ande would be his destiny, perfect for a man who has other ideas on what his life would look like; his views are quite different than his sisters. The chemistry between Ande and Keene was off the charts; they made an awesome couple. There was heat, passion, and fun when it came to their sexy times. They could not keep their hands off one another.
The author did an amazing job bringing all the characters into this final story, even Kobe and Folsom and their children, which made this finale come full circle. I was introduced to the new family of Andes and loved getting to know them, looking forward to stories of their own one day.
I loved everything about this story—the twists and turns, the drama, the unexpected, witty banter, the love, laughter, friendships, and their large, messy families—an emotional story that made you want to laugh and cry. This was such a great read; I loved this one from cover to cover, and overall, this was such a great series and I loved each story in it. I loved most that the characters were far from perfect and had imperfections, and we were all so different from one another yet found mates who loved them, imperfections and all, and the drama that came with loving them. I wore a smile and grins reading throughout this one.
