Welcome to the first Monthly Chapter of the new year! Boy can you believe that it is 2025? I certainly can’t and let me tell you knowing that it is really makes me feel old. normally it doesn’t but this year for some reason it does. I began my love of books and reading at a very young age. I discovered romance books before I understood what they were and I would read Harlequin Romance that was light and sweet. My tastes have since grown and changed and I added in all sorts of other genres, sub-genres, and so much more.
Now at 48 years old I read several hundred books a year. For every one that I read there are at least four more on my tbr (to be read) pile and even more than that I receive requests to read. This year I am hoping to grow not only my personal library but to help y’all grow yours as well.
The New Monthly Chapter
Deciding how to change and update this monthly news and giveaway post series was not easy for me. I love telling you what I am hoping to read, giving you some recommendations and more but I felt like I wasn’t consistent enough. Nor did I feel like I was giving you what you wanted. One of the things I certainly wanted to do was make sure I was giving you more news and updates as that is one of the things I always intended this series to be. When I don’t have any news I thought I would share a little more about my reading life and journey.

I can’t wait to read Lani Lynn Vale’s new series! It’s Mafia Romance which I love plus I love her books ! 🙂
There are a lot of great new releases this month. Hoping to get to all of them.
Currently reading If You Lie by Caleb Stephens. Happy new year everyone!
I don’t have any reading plans as of yet. It most likely will be a cozy murder mystery.
I am looking forward to reading Silver Hallow this month sure hope I can find the time.

I have a few ARC books that I need to read. My plan for the month is to read 3 kindle books and finish the ARCs I have even if they aren’t ready for review till next month.
I’m reading Mom Squad by Kaci Lane. My goal is to finish reading it by the end of the month. Been too busy having kids home over the break.

She is a new author to me and loving the first book I am reading – Unmissing.
The new Sasaki and Miyano is out in a couple of weeks!
Bought a copy of Onyx Storm today so its my first read of 25.
I have joined a book club, so my plans are to read the books we have chosen! It’s been an interesting way to find new reads
I’m reading If You Tell: A True Story of Murder, Family Secrets, and the Unbreakable Bond of Sisterhood Paperback Gregg Olsen.
I have reading challenges I like to do so I’m doing those a couple of them at the same time. It keeps me reading a lot but I love it. Hope your month was great ty for the amazing giveaway as always!
