Welcome to The Monthly Chapter for June 2024.
It has been a hot mess over here for the last few months. I keep saying I am going to get over here and do this or that but I fail at it regularly. Then when it seems like I have a moment life gets in the way. I am making a new commitment to this blog though starting this month. Yes, this post is a few days late but that’s okay. Although I should tell you that if the first of the month falls on a weekend then this monthly post won’t happen until Monday. I am honoring my weekends by not sneaking work in or stressing myself out so badly that I can’t function.
I will say that reading has been one of the things that has gotten me through this year so far. Things have just been so hectic and jumbled. It seemed like the moment I sat down to write one of these it was a month late and time for another one. I do hope y’all will not only forgive me but stick it out with me. I am hoping to bring some pretty great bookish giveaways over the next few months.

I’m reading a lot of new authors through the free books on Amazon. I’ve tagged a couple to read more! Great way to try new authors or new genres
I am looking forward to reading Shoot The Moon by Isa Arsen this month it sounds like one that I will enjoy.
I haven’t read much in the past couple months so I am hoping to catch up on all the new releases I missed and catch up on Sarah J Maas books.
I’ve got a few Jayne Ann Krentz and Lori Fosters books I plan on reading.
I have several LJ Shen books I want to read.
I’m starting Better Living Through Birding: Notes from a Black Man in the Natural World by Christian Cooper.
I have a lot of books on my TBR list I am hoping to chip away at; also starting my first audiobook!
I am looking forward to reading book 2 in a cliffhanger book 1. It is a reverse harem, which I’m not usually a fan of but this book was just awesome! It is the Saint View Psycho series!
I’m hoping to start again on J Bree’s The Bonds That Tie series again I read the first one when they came out but she’s then since added or finished the series so hoping to read it next! Hope you had a great month!
