Welcome to The Monthly Chapter for September 2022. This month we have a lot of book reviews happening among other things. We have a new look that I am so excited about as well as a giveaway going on to celebrate that. I am also finishing up a little bit of housekeeping around here.
I have been working hard to get things the way I finally want them here. On top of that I have spent every free moment reading and writing the reviews that are coming this month and the rest of the year. I have some amazing gift guides coming for the holidays and so many more giveaways that I know y’all are going to want to enter.
Reading This Month

This month I plan on reading Book of Night by Holly Black.
I so want to read the book called The Cowboy by Molly O’Keefe this month that looks so good and one that I know I will just love.
I’m in a Jayne Ann Krentz mood so I’m going to go back and read some of her books again.
Right now I am in the middle of re-reading JR Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood and Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series! And there are of course quite a few new releases on my radar this month, so I expect, I will be quite busy!

I’m reading Waiting on Forever by Claudia Connor – once I get that done I plan on reading Stephen King’s newest to start getting into spooky season mode 🙂
I don’t have a specific reading plan for the month ahead, I will just be reading whatever catches my attention
I plan on reading Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover.
I am going to read some Fae books.
Actually have something quite different from usual on my reading plans for this month: The Gospel According to Job. Considering my chronic pain, I’m hoping it helps my perspective.
I am not reading anything at the moment. I have felt a little burned out this month between work and physical therapy.
After summer and the crush of back to school mania, I am crashing on my sofa with a STACK of trashy romance novels, I mean the truly terrible 1970s stuff. My brain needs a break!

Honestly between 2 kids and 3 soccer teams, this mom is tired. Running to all three by myself but I love it. I’m going to start reading again in a few weeks! Going to look into Mafia bride.
My goal this month is to read all of Glennon Doyle’s books. I love her book Untamed.
Ive been chipping away at some books on my TBR list; Id like to shorten it a little!

September is a busy month so I haven’t been reading books too much. I am slowly reading The Four Agreements again.
I have decided to change up the trope I will be reading trying more RH.
I think this month I want to reread some of my favourites growing up that I still have on my bookshelf.
I’m waiting expectantly for The Choice: The Dragon Heart Legacy, Book 3 by Nora Roberts. Just re-read the first two books. Love them.
