Odin is the one I was really interested in from this series. From the beginning of any series there always seemed to be one person (usually one of the guys) that just seems to draw my attention and I am left wondering more about them. Normally, I have to wait until the last book in the series but this time I didn’t. Thank goodness!

Odin is the grumpiest of the group I would say. He never really says much as it shows when the other guys are so surprised by how much he talks here. While Constance is a single mom who moved to the small town they live in because of her daughter who has a rare disease that needs constant blood transfusions.

They end up thrown together in jury duty of all things and Constance is drawn to Odin but she sees his cut and her past with a MC guy leaves her judging him before she really gets to know him. Wendy, Constance’s daughter, adds another layer and Odin likes the little girl so much. In one of their first exchanges I was left laughing out loud. It was not what I expected yet it was just so Wendy at the same time. 

The story is pretty fast paced and honestly, I was left saying wow a lot. As things unfold and we find things out a lot of times. One of the things I love about Lani Lynn Vale books is there is always a little suspense going on. I just knew that it was all going to be someone else but in the end I was just flabbergasted at the how and why of things. It was one of the best reads of the series!
