This book was slow for me. The characters were written well but I had a hard time finishing it. I hate that too because I wanted to love it yet I just couldn’t. Although this was a new author for me I will certainly be looking for her other works.

The Army Ranger’s Surprise by Donna Micheals | Book Review
This was my first book in the series. Although this is part of a series I had no problem reading this one without being lost. I really loved the idea of a ranch for returning vets who are damaged whether physically or some emotionally. There is more than enough backstory told for you to how the vets…
Highland Betrayal by Alyson McLayne | Book Review
It has been a while since I read a historical romance that I enjoyed this much. This book is certainly a get ready for a bumpy ride book. Maggie MacDonnell is done waiting on men. Waiting for Callum Laclean to marry her, her brother to sober up , and the other brother to return. She…
Listen Pitch by Lani Lynn Vale | Book Review
There was a moment in this book where I was like NOOOOO! I couldn’t believe what I was reading but then I reminded myself that Rhys was kind of important to the story line so maybe things would be okay. I had to remind myself of that a lot. There is so much to love…

Sir Loin of Beef by Vanessa Vale | Book Review
Okay, this was a quick read but it was good. I loved how the siblings all were together. They gave each other a hard time over their nicknames. I also loved ‘s mother. She was so wonderful making sure that knew nothing was her fault. duke (no one calls him Landon) and his best friend…
Found in Bliss by Lexi Blake Writing as Sophie Oak | Book Review
As I have said before rereading theses books as they are released is like coming home and getting together with old friends. I loved them the first time around, even the second, and the hundredth. Now with some added scenes they are even better. Alexei and Caleb couldn’t be more different yet they both love…

This was the first time I read this author and I have to say that I enjoyed this book. Carter is forced to give up her best friend’s baby when her friend dies. She has to find the father or give the baby to the proper authorities. The father that whose identity her friend told…
Talkin’ Trash by Lani Lynn Vale | Book Review
This could not have been a better book! Linc and Conleigh have wanted one another for years. However, Linc pulled away because Conleigh’s step-dad told him she wasn’t ready. It is the same thing that he has heard for years. When they finally get together he won’t hear anything about her being ready…
Lost in Bliss by Lexi Blake Writing as Sophie Oak | Book Review
This has always been one of my favorite books. There are some added scenes but nothing that doesn’t enhance the book in any way. I will say that when the serial killer is finally revealed I was so surprised. Even now, I never thought it would be who it was. I just didn’t see it….
