Okay, this was by far my favorite of the series. I know I say that every single time but this really was. There was just something heartbreaking about Gentry and Sage. As we all know Gentry is one of the guys who Apollo broke out of prison and now he has a new name, new life, new everything in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Each book and couple just keeps getting better and better.

Ramsey Kelly (Gentry) is the kind of guy who will always do the right thing even if doing it means he goes to prison. It will step in and protect a stranger and then marry said stranger to protect her. It ruins his life completely but he does it anyway. 

That stranger happens to be Sage, and her family is connected to the Irish Mob! I mean talk about stepping right into it. She is grateful to Ramsey for helping her and marrying her to protect. She is also heartbroken when he “dies”. So you can imagine how she feels when she starts catching glimpses of her dead husband in the new town she is living in.  

When she finally meets Gentry she is so angry and let me tell you I loved it! She was righteous in her anger and the hurt she felt. Gentry also had a lot of hurt and there was a lot to work through. Add in the crazy family, a lot of secrets, and let me tell you I couldn’t put this one down.

I do have questions, especially about Gentry’s brother and I know they won’t get answered but I still have them. I am also excited for the next book because I am certain it is going to leave me in my feels.
